As another National University Games or UNIGAMES season comes, I can’t help but reflect on the hardships, commitment, and determination that every competitive athlete puts into his or her sports discipline just to win a gold medal.
For an athlete to really shine and dominate the event he or she is participating, submitting to discipline and practice are very important.
The ultimate mark of a champion is not the gold medal per se. It is the person himself or herself who had invested every ounce of his or her physical, mental, and psychological faculties to win a championship.
A champion is one who never quits at the first taste of failure and he or she relentlessly pursues victory.
It’s the same with online writing. Acquiring online writing skills really takes time. It doesn’t happen overnight. One needs to really work hard for it and working hard entails the mastery of the rudiments and art of online writing.
The champion online writer is not easily discouraged by criticisms. He or she is not contented with mediocrity. He or she goes on writing and rewriting until the desired quality is attained.
Like a great mighty athlete who trains daily and learns strategies on how to gain victory, the online writing champion takes every opportunity to improve his or her writing skills, learning new ways and means on how to cope with the continuing progress in the online world.
